Located conveniently with weekday hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., The Garage Podcast Studio is more than just a room with a mic. It’s designed with versatility in mind with tables that can be rearranged into various seating layouts to suit everything from solo recordings to roundtable multi-person interviews.

But what really catches attention is the gear.

Podcast production equipment is now available for rent, making it easy for creators to walk in and start recording without bringing their own setup. Available equipment includes the popular Rodecaster Pro II audio mixer, four Rode M1 dynamic microphones, professional studio lighting, and three Canon video cameras for multi-angle video recording. It’s a game-changer for those looking to produce professional-quality shows without the cost or hassle of setting up their own studio.

“We wanted to create a space that made it easy for people to get started or level up their podcast without needing to invest thousands in gear,” says The Mill Workspace CEO Chris Donaldson. “This will help businesses produce more content and get more exposure for their business.”

The venue has already welcomed several local podcasters including Misfit Militia, Maleia Evans- Authentically You Network Podcast!, and Never After Happily, a podcast sponsored by the Dyer County Arts Council.

The studio also includes a 55-inch TV with HDMI connections, a computer hooked up to the TV, a wireless keyboard and mouse, and fast fiber internet — perfect for remote interviews or livestreams. There’s also a break area and access to restrooms for added comfort during long sessions.

The Garage Podcast Studio is open Monday-Friday, and rates start at $40 an hour for community members. Whether you're launching your first podcast or expanding your content, this space is set up to support creativity from day one.
