Crockett County — May 1, 2025 — More than a dozen individuals interested in design and digital content creation attended the “Canva Made Simple” workshop on Wednesday, April 30, gaining hands-on experience with the popular online design platform.

Hosted at the Gibson Electric Membership Corporation in Crockett County, the workshop was led by social media strategist and business consultant Elizabeth Pritchett. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the session provided a comprehensive introduction to Canva, covering essential design skills such as incorporating brand colors, creating simple layouts, and using QR codes.

Attendees praised the clarity and accessibility of the presentation. One participant noted they felt “ready to use the platform” following the session, while another described the workshop as “very helpful,” adding that it made Canva “easier to understand.” Many also appreciated the workshop’s pace and the hands-on approach, which contributed to an effective and engaging learning environment.

The event was part of an ongoing effort by The Mill Workspace to equip entrepreneurs and small business owners in Northwest Tennessee with practical tools for business growth.
