Dyersburg, TN — May 2, 2025 — After a decades-long career as a business owner and property appraiser, Edd Daniels has found a fresh way to stay connected with the community: through food. In 2022, Daniels launched the Eddyville Weiner Wagon, a food truck serving up fresh, made-to-order hot dogs and other crowd favorites to customers across Tennessee, Kentucky, and surrounding areas.
Daniels, a seasoned entrepreneur who got his start in 1982 with ventures such as Daniel’s Lake Road Amoco and Billy’s Party Store, retired from the corporate world—but found that retirement wasn’t quite for him. “After I retired I needed something to stay busy with,” Daniels said. “Sitting still just didn’t feel right, so I started something to make a little income during retirement.”
That entrepreneurial spirit led him to the food truck scene in 2014, eventually evolving into his latest and most beloved concept, the Eddyville Weiner Wagon. Known for its commitment to quality and affordability, the food truck features a full menu of made-to-order items, including the fan-favorite ¼ lb. Homewrecker Hot Dog.
Along for the ride is Daniels’ wife, Beverly, who has been by his side for the past 15 years. Together, the couple brings friendly service and flavorful meals to festivals, private events, and communities within a 100-mile radius.
The Eddyville Weiner Wagon is scheduled to appear at several upcoming events, including:
-The Banana Festival in Fulton, KY
-The Reelfoot Arts and Crafts Festival in Lake County, TN
-Columbus-Belmont State Park in Columbus, KY
Whether you're looking for a memorable meal or booking event catering, the Eddyville Weiner Wagon delivers a satisfying blend of hometown hospitality and high-quality food.
