Dyersburg, TN - May 9, 2025 - Mother’s Day weekend at The Mill Workspace launched in full bloom on Friday, May 9, with the Florals, Food, and Fresh Brew event held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The celebration featured a trio of beloved local businesses: Squatch BBQ and Catering, Florescence Mobile Flower Shop, and Misfit Militia Coffee.

Florescence Floral Studio and Flower Truck, owned by Brooke Jones, was established in 2023 and is known for its garden-style bouquets and event florals. Brooke’s commitment to quality and sustainability is reflected in her use of locally grown and sourced flowers.

Also joining the lineup were the Misfit Militia Coffee team, regulars at The Mill Workspace. In addition to crafting bold and meaningful coffee experiences, the trio hosts a weekly podcast, "The Misfit Monday Debrief", recorded in The Mill’s Garage Podcast Studio.

Squatch BBQ and Catering, a fan favorite hailing from Weakley County, is led by owner Jason Foust. Known for its mouthwatering flavors and exceptional service, the business hit the road full-time in 2025 and continues to serve up popular dishes across West Tennessee.

Florals, Food, and Fresh Brew is one of many events hosted by The Mill Workspace highlighting small businesses across the region and is part of The Mill's Food Truck Fridays initiative. Running from April through August, this series introduces new food trucks and vendors each week in an effort to draw more visitors downtown and support the local economy.

As part of its efforts to expand visibility and access for small businesses, The Mill Workspace has partnered with StreetFoodFinder (SFF), a mobile application that connects food lovers with local food trucks. This collaboration is just one more way The Mill is helping entrepreneurs start and grow across Northwest Tennessee.
