Dyersburg, TN - May 23, 2025 - In 2019, childhood best friends James Armour and Jimmie Dickey turned their lifelong passion for cooking into a full-blown entrepreneurial adventure—J&J BBQ. What started as a shared love for good food has since evolved into a mobile BBQ business that’s allowed them to take their passion on the road, serving communities in Northwest Tennessee and beyond.
“We’ve always loved to cook, so this was just the next step,” said James. “We’ve been best friends since 7th grade," added Jimmie. "Believe it or not, both of are named James, too. I just go by Jimmie instead."
Based in Humboldt, TN, the duo has hit the road to share their mouthwatering creations with communities far and wide, even reaching as far as Tupelo, MS.
