Paris, TN — September 19, 2025 — Every leader must face difficult conversations, whether it’s giving feedback, addressing conflict, or discussing employee issues. The Mill Workspace is excited to partner with the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce to host a leadership-focused workshop led by expert Merry Brown.

The Mill and Paris-Henry County Chamber are proud to bring this event to Northwest Tennessee business owners, managers and entrepreneurs who want to communicate more effectively with their colleagues and staff. This practical workshop, titled “Navigating Difficult Conversations,” will take place on Tuesday, October 14, from 10:00 to 11:30 at the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce, located at 2508 E Wood St, Paris, TN 38242.

During this workshop, you will learn to:

  • Approach difficult conversations with clarity
  • Give feedback without creating tension
  • Resolve workplace conflict
  • Keep trust while addressing performance issues

“All leaders face uncomfortable conversations; it's part of every job,” said The Mill Community Manager Rachel Townsend. “We’re excited to bring in Merry Brown, who has established a successful business helping organizations and businesses manage conflict in healthy ways that build stronger teams. This is a valuable opportunity for owners and managers at every level.”

Brown is the owner of Workplace Conflict Restoration Consultant and the author of “How to Be Unprofessional at Work: Tips to Ensure Failure”.

The event will feature a live presentation from Brown, opportunities for Q&A, and time to connect with fellow entrepreneurs.
