Paris, TN – September 26, 2025 - On Thursday, September 25, The Mill Workspace teamed up with CRS CPAs and the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce to present Getting Started with QuickBooks Online. The 90-minute workshop was designed to give business professionals, solopreneurs, and small business owners the tools to confidently navigate the accounting platform and better manage their finances.
The session was led by Wendy Butler, CPA/Shareholder at CRS CPAs, along with CRS CPA Accounting Associate Emily Watkins. Together, they guided attendees through:
- Setting up QuickBooks Online for the first time
- Understanding financial statements
- Linking accounts
- Opening a business account
- Building a Chart of Accounts
Butler also shared insight into using subaccounts, creating balance sheets, uploading receipts for simplified audits, reconciling accounts, and troubleshooting common issues.
This workshop is part of a larger series of educational programs The Mill is offering across Northwest Tennessee, covering not only accounting tools like QuickBooks, but also a wide range of topics designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners grow their businesses.
