Trenton, TN — November 7, 2025 — Want to get your bookkeeping on track before the new year? The Mill Workspace is hosting a hands-on workshop to help small business owners shape up their finances and feel confident in QuickBooks. The session, titled “Getting Started with QuickBooks Online,” will be held Thursday, November 20 at Jackson State Community College in Trenton from 8:30–10:00 A.M. The workshop will be led by CRS CPA/ Shareholder Wendy Butler, who has years of experience helping businesses strengthen their financial systems.
This event is sponsored by CRS CPAs and presented by The Mill Workspace in partnership with the Milan, Humboldt, and Greater Gibson County Chambers of Commerce.
The workshop is designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to better understand how to manage their books using QuickBooks Online. Participants will learn how to:
- Set up QBO for the first time
- Link business accounts
- Read and understand financial statements
- Open a new business account
- Create and manage a Chart of Accounts
“Bookkeeping is one of the biggest stress points for small businesses,” said Rachel Townsend, Community Manager at The Mill Workspace. “We wanted to offer a workshop that breaks QuickBooks down into something simple and approachable. Our goal is to help local entrepreneurs walk away feeling confident and ready for the new year.”
The event will feature a live presentation, time for questions, and opportunities to network with other local business owners.
