Trenton, TN - December 10, 2025 - Husband and wife duo Clay and Holland Brewer launched Stockyard Market in 2023 with a mission rooted in community and health. Their farm-to-table business offers beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and an array of locally sourced, minimally processed products.
The idea for the market emerged in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the Brewers recognized a growing need for accessible, local meats without the burden of bulk ordering.
“We wanted to create a space where customers could buy individual cuts of meat and access healthier, minimally processed foods,” Holland said. “Something better for our community.”
Based in West Tennessee, Stockyard Market serves families across the region—including Gibson County, Weakley County, and the Trenton, Milan Special, and Humboldt school districts—by providing fresh, local meats and goods. They also partner with local schools to supply farm-fresh food for student meals.
What sets Stockyard apart is its flexibility and transparency: meats are available in individual cuts, making high-quality meat more affordable. Each item is sourced locally, ensuring customers know exactly where their food comes from.
The Brewers take pride in their small business roots, knowing their work directly supports and feeds the community they love and call home.
“Our best sellers are ribeye and ground beef,” said Holland. “Once you’ve had a Stockyard Market steak, you won’t want to go back to the grocery store.”
In addition to meats, the market also features locally made breads, soup mixes, marinades, jams, soaps, and more—bringing a local touch to every household and table.
