Martin, TN – April 15, 2026 - On Thursday, April 9, Launch Tennessee and Pinnacle Financial Partners, with support from the Nasdaq Foundation, hosted Capital Conversations at Woodfire Pizza Kitchen in Martin, TN. The event welcomed local entrepreneurs, investors, and community partners for networking and discussions on funding, investment opportunities, and how to better utilize resources within the community.
Speakers included Jarlecia Jones, VP of Lending with Pathway Lending; Chris Donaldson, director of The Mill Workspace; and Launch Tennessee CEO Lindsey Cox.
Throughout the event, attendees heard tips and strategies on topics including startup funding, securing investors, and what not to do when seeking advice. Jones provided insight into eligibility for Pathway Lending, while Donaldson and Cox shared best practices for those just starting their entrepreneurial journey. They also emphasized the resources available to small businesses through agencies such as the Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Centers, entrepreneur centers like The Mill Workspace and theCO, and local chambers of commerce.
