Dyersburg, TN – May 5, 2026 - The Mill Workspace recently partnered with the Dyersburg-Dyer County Chamber of Commerce to host a lunch and learn focused on “Getting Started with QuickBooks Online”. Sponsored by CRS CPAs, the hands-on session was created to help business professionals, solopreneurs, and small business owners feel more confident using QuickBooks and managing their day-to-day finances.
The workshop was led by Wendy Butler, CPA and Shareholder at CRS CPAs, alongside Accounting Associate Emily Smith. The two spent time walking attendees through:
- Setting up QuickBooks Online for the first time
- Understanding key financial statements
- Linking accounts
- Opening a business account
- Building a Chart of Accounts
Smith and Butler also shared practical tips on using subaccounts, creating balance sheets, uploading receipts to simplify audits, reconciling accounts, and troubleshooting common issues.
Attendees of the workshop said the training provided them with a detailed understanding of how the accounting program works, while also leaving time for questions and engagement.
