Dyersburg, TN – May 6, 2025 - The Mill Workspace and Main Street Dyersburg have partnered to host the workshop, “Marketing for Market and Pop-Up Vendors”.

The program will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Main Street Dyersburg Farmers Market, located at 335 Clark Ave. in downtown Dyersburg.

The workshop is designed to help vendors effectively market their products and drive in new sales.

The program will cover:

  • How to use social media to bring people to your booth before the event even starts
  • Simple ways to make your booth more inviting and easier to shop
  • How to clearly communicate who your products are for and why they matter
  • How to show up in your marketing so people feel connected to you, not just your products
  • How to create an experience that keeps people coming back and telling others about you

The workshop will be led by marketing specialist Elizabeth Pritchett.

Pritchett says vendors don’t need more products or more markets. They simply need a better way to get noticed and remembered.

“If your markets feel busy but your sales don’t reflect it, you’re not alone,” says Pritchett. “A lot of vendors show up with great products, a nice setup, and social media… but still get overlooked. People walk by. They browse but don’t buy. And it starts to feel like you’re doing everything ‘right’ with little to show for it. This training will show you how to stand out both online and in person so you’re not just another booth in the mix.”

A Q&A session will follow, allowing attendees to ask questions and receive guidance specific to their business.

The program is open to entrepreneurs across Northwest Tennessee and the surrounding areas.

Registration is $20 per attendee.

“We are excited to offer small businesses the opportunity to learn more about the Farmers Market, and to achieve overall greater success as a pop-up vendor, no matter what venue they attend,” said The Mill Community Manager Rachel Townsend.

“You can have an amazing product, but without proper exposure, marketing, and pricing, it may never reach its full potential. That’s where this workshop can step in and provide assistance. Elizabeth will help business owners take the guesswork out of merchandising and presentation so they can approach the market with confidence. We appreciate Main Street Dyersburg partnering with us to bring this opportunity to Dyer County.”
