Dyersburg, TN – June 1, 2026 - For those looking to start or grow a small business, marketing can be one of the biggest obstacles to overcome. Learning how to draw a crowd, advertise services, set pricing, and create an overall aesthetic and branding that people will remember is challenging.
To help make this process less intimidating, The Mill Workspace recently partnered with the Dyersburg-Dyer County Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Dyersburg Farmers Market to host a workshop on merchandising and marketing for vendors and pop-ups.
The workshop started with a brief history and tour of the Main Street Farmers Market, located at 335 Clark Ave. in downtown Dyersburg, before relocating to The Mill Workspace for lunch and the workshop presentation, led by marketing specialist Elizabeth Pritchett.
The workshop was held on Thursday, May 28, and began at 11:30 a.m., as Pritchett shared the dos and don’ts of marketing in-person, including how to set up merchandise, social media presence before and after events, the importance of offering giveaways to boost followers, and more.
Attendees said they appreciated the details of the program, how it provided examples using real people and real products. Attendees also noted that the visual component of the program and the walk-through presentation allowed them to better understand and visualize the execution of effective marketing.
Lunch for the event was provided by local business, By George, You Got It! Special thanks go out to the Dyersburg-Dyer County Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Dyersburg Farmers Market for partnering with us to provide this opportunity to local business owners.
