Obion County, TN - August 17, 2026 - After 30 years of service in the federal government, Randy Bridges was introduced to The Mill Workspace with a goal of putting his experience, skills, and tools to work in a new way. Bridges is the founder of WRB Organizational Efficiency Group, a business based in Obion County and focused on helping organizations identify opportunities for improvement and excellence.

"I decided to go out on my own to utilize the skills and tools that I developed to develop my own business. The business is designed around helping and empowering organizations to achieve excellence. We do that through analysis of their current programs, people, and technology to recommend improvement opportunities for them. We're fortunate enough to have been certified through the State of Tennessee as a service-disabled veteran business enterprise, which means that we can also support any organization at the state level throughout the state of Tennessee."

Bridges is currently focused on working with small and medium-sized businesses throughout West Tennessee as he builds a strong foundation for WRB Organizational Efficiency Group. His long-term goal is to expand the business across the state and eventually return to working with the federal government.

WRB Organizational Efficiency Group provides services in areas including advisory, workforce transformation, efficiency diagnostics, and executive functions. Bridges offers discovery sessions at no cost, giving potential clients an opportunity to discuss their organization, identify challenges, and determine what level of support may be appropriate for their needs.

"The goal is to work with local businesses, analyze their data related to employees, people, performance, and technology. There are always elements that you can improve upon, and we will strive to help organizations realize a 5-10% growth opportunity through our services."

Bridges says his background as a retired Air Force veteran and longtime public servant has given him a unique perspective on serving people and organizations on an individual basis. Throughout his career, he has developed and implemented processes designed to improve efficiency and help organizations reach their goals.

One example of his experience came during his time in the federal government, when Bridges was responsible for executing the hiring of 2,200 employees over a 12-month period.

"We developed a process flow where we would bring people in. We would have them through interviews, fingerprinting, drug screening, and medical evaluations all within a 2-hour time period. That expedited them getting hired. They would leave with a tentative job offer pending successful completion and passing of the drug screen and medical evaluation."

For Bridges, the transition into entrepreneurship has provided an opportunity to take the lessons he learned throughout his career and apply them to the needs of local businesses.

He encourages other aspiring entrepreneurs to take advantage of the resources already available in their communities before trying to navigate the process alone.

"You have The Mill Workspace here in Dyersburg, TN. You have the Reed Center in Martin, TN. You have the Tennessee Small Business [Development Center] and also the SBA [Small Business Administration], which is a federal agency."

As WRB Organizational Efficiency Group continues to establish itself in West Tennessee, Bridges hopes to help local businesses identify opportunities, improve their operations, and build a foundation for sustainable growth.
