Alamo, TN – September 30, 2026 - Business owners, managers, and leaders in the Crockett County area came together for a workshop led by Merry Brown on How to Be Unprofessional at Work. The workshop centered on topics including poor communication, gossip, disrespect, unreliability, and defensiveness. Other discussions centered on what professionalism looks like in differing work environments and work cultures.
The workshop was hosted in partnership with The Mill Workspace and the Crockett County Chamber of Commerce.
Attendees said Brown was a well-articulated speaker, delivering information in a way that was easy to understand, while providing each attendee with an opportunity to share their views and experiences.
For those who missed the opportunity to participate in the Alamo, TN workshop, Brown will lead a second workshop on How to Be Unprofessional at Work in Dyersburg, TN on October 19, 2026, at The Mill Workspace, located at 217 South Mill Ave. The event will be held from 10-11:30 a.m.
